The Simple Woman's Daybook - Page 3

I have remembered to do my Simple Woman's Daybook today! I hope you did too!
For... Monday, July 28th.
Outside My Window... I can see the tall grass wavering in the wind, the gentle breeze rocking the beautiful Queen Ann's Lace back and forth.
I am thinking... that I should get started on what is on my list for today - weeding out the few weeds in the garden, weed the other flowerbed, wash the windows on the downstairs floor, make sure the house is picked up, make sure my room is spick-spot.
I am thankful... for the warm sunshine that is lighting the fields, and the wonderful breeze that is blowing.
From the kitchen... the Littles are making some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
I am wearing... A blue skirt that looks jean, but it's not; an orange T, my hair is in a ponytail, no shoes or socks.
I am creating... some stationary for my penpals.
I am going... be cleaning a lot today.
I am reading... "Rosa of Linden Castle" by Christoph von Schmid, soon to be "Enoch Roden's Training" by Hesba Stretten, another Lamplighter book.
I am hoping... get everything done on my list, and have dinner done on time.
I am hearing... Amanda's voice talking to LucyLillie about eating her sandwich, and the fans that are blowing here constantly.
Around the house... Everyone is up, and the house is just starting to get into a bustle.
One of my favorite things... is to sit and write a story and imagine I am in the story.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Weed the garden, flower beds, clean out the garage some, mow some, and probably weedwack too, wash the floor in the kitchen, make sure there is laundry on the line at all times, and many more things... :)
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
This is Carrots when we first found him/her. I kept Carrots for about 4-5 months before getting Daisy. Carrots was no bigger than a tennis ball when we found him.

Don't forget to do *your* Simple Woman's Daybook for today too. Any young lady can do this. :) For Guidelines of this meme, visit The Simple Woman.
